I understand that Melanoma is a skin cancer - however, they cannot find another melanoma site anywhere in my body other than the brain. I am getting conflicting recommendations for treatment.
If you had a choice of surgeons - would you pick the one that scored 10% extra credit for his pigmentation on his licensing exam?
I’ve noticed the following chances within the last month:
-I forgot things easily sometimes. [Like I’ll think of something to do and then forget it 5-10 minutes later, but i usually remember it later]
-My head hurts in random parts all over my head, sometimes it’s the top, sometimes the side, backside, etc.
I’m 15 years old and Cancer doesn’t run in my family but I’m worried.
My mom gets a lot of bad headaches if that has anything to do with it so maybe it’s just a heredity thing?
These were the only changes I’ve noticed and my head doesn’t always hurt, it feels fine but sometimes it hurts, espically when I think about it.
I don’t want to seek medical help until I get an answer. Thanks.
question says it all… have had daily headaches for a long time with other symptoms that are fixed by anything else,… going for MRI soon, but I’m scared.. is it possible that if I do have one I’ll die before they find it? What happens if they do find it? Why can’t I talk to any friends about this?
im 16 and 4years ago i convinced myself i couldn’t breathe and had heart problems, everyday i would check my heart rate, see if i was breathing propley, it got so bad that i visited the doctor nearly every week. He thought i was insane, but allowed me to get an xray so i could stop bugging him, it turned out i was perfectly fine. 2 years ago i went to the same doctor convinced i had a brain tumor and he did simple walking tests with me, and asked me questions he said i should visit a psychiatrist. but i didn’t as his reinsurance made the pain go, after about 1 and a half years of no pain, the same pain is back but worse and i am searching nearly everyday at brain tumor symptoms, mine are very similar as sometimes i blackout for a few seconds in the morning when i get up, and i get headaches, and get pins and needles in my legs i also get nausea sometimes HELP ME PLEASE
Ive started having headaches the last couple of days. I feel so tired and sometimes it feels like something is pressing above my eyes. The headaches arent the worst, but they are so uncomfortable. Today I’ve started getting a pain in my ear, and I feel ever so slightly sick and dizzy. Whats wrong with me???? Im getting so worried it could be serious like a brain tumour
For the past 3 years I’ve been having a harder time remembering things. Like I’ll remember something, then when I go to think about it a second later i forget what I was trying to remember about. I have also been getting headaches when i don’t sleep enough, or if I over sleep, ( these have only been happening for the past year). Also, 2 weeks ago I started to veiw myself differently, and that’s happened before, but, I have gone back to normal before, this time, i really haven’t…

I am 19 years old. I had a friend a couple years ago suffer a brain hemorrhage that has caused some serious mental and physical problems. That scares me first of all. Second, I have recently been feeling very, very badly.
First of all, within the past couple months, I’ve noticed that when I stare into space, my eyes go ‘lazy’ and I get double vision. I am also extremely fatigued without even being up for many hours. [This has been going on for a long while.]
My vision has also gotten funky in other ways. My right eye is suddenly near-sighted (well, not suddenly, it’s developed over time.) and my left is far sighted.
My mom is confident I do not have a problem and will not take me to the hospital.
Can someone PLEASE reassure me or… say something encouraging. Please. I also have this weird thing - I’ve had it for awhile - where I’m scared I’ll die on the 15th. And… the fifteenth is coming up very soon.
Just. Can someone please. Help me… I don’t know why I’m freaking out this much…
