I just read that my aunt has skin cancer. So, I looked it up on the internet, an it said that if you have blue eyes, blond hair, red hair, an get freckles from being in the the sun to long that they have a higher risk of getting skin cancer. An I have blonde hair, an blue eyes!! But, when ever I’m out in the sun all I do is get darker but no freckles? Can someone help if I have an easy chance getting skin cancer?!
Obviously everyone freaks about tanning or going outside without a sunscreen. BUT not only have i heard but it also makes 100% sense that if you go outside and get sun (unprotected by spf) you are less likely to get skin cancer. I understand where people are coming from with the whole cancer thing but I like to compare it to your immune system. Yes you can be anal and stay away from all germs BUT if you do come across one you are going to get sick and its going to be a lot worse then somebody who is exposed regularly. Do you know what I mean? I know you can have too much of anything but you can also have to little.
The percentage of cancer skin cases is smaller for black peole than for white people, or it is the same no matter skin malanin levels ??
Because of a scar on my chin, I started using Palmer’s Skin Success Eventone Fading Cream to lighten it up so that it would go away. The cream works very well, I noticed results in five days. However, I also noticed two freckles where I had applied the cream. I have heard that hydroquinone can cause cancer and has been banned in some countries, but I’m not so sure if it’s as dangerous as everyone is trying to make it sound, because U.S. dermatologists say it’s a safe and effective product. So the cream I use for the scar contains 2% hydroquinone in it, which is a small enough amount to be sold over the counter. Are the new freckles on my chin a sign of skin cancer from the hydroquinone or are they from the six hours I spent in the sun swimming? The freckles are small and look like the ones on my cheeks. I will be really cheesed off if this product gave me skin cancer because I have only been using it for a week.
Iv found 2 more lumps at the bottom of my back, like 1 either side of my spine, are these lymph nodes or lumps ?!?!? im going crazy
I’m sorry to hear that Cindy, but keep strong and you will beat it. The mind is stronger than anything it faces, just know that.
How do I get tested and or treated? I live in Northern California.
My bedroom seems to be very dusty, but with more than just dust; I noticed of little "fibers" going around, like tiny floating strings in the air.
Whenever I pull the window blinds open during a sunset/rise, The room becomes illuminated a certain way, and I can see thousands of these dust/fiber particles in the air, usually impossible to see. I think the fibers come of bedding and clothing….like the little tiny "hairs"you’ll see on a cotton shirt.
Can these cause lung damage?
Andhow do I get rid of those "invisible" fibers in the air?
My car is very dirty, and I can see the same little fibers floating i nthe air in the right lighting. Am I breathing this stuff in for all these years, giving myself silicosis or some lung disease?
