She has not started any chemoteraphy or any treatment yet,just diagnosed with the disease.will i be in anyway hurt her?What should i do or should not do?

Why high-risk pregnancy after thyroid cancer?

Ive had normal pregnancies in the past with no issues. 8 years ago I had a lump removed from my thyroid that turned out to be cancerous. I never had chemo, no medications, nothing. It was removed and never grew back. Period. Now Im 3 months pregnant and doctors are shuffling me around like Ive got something contagious, calling me high-risk because Im a cancer survivor. Im not even on any thyroid medication or anything, this has never even impacted my life in any way. Why would this be high-risk? Any insight would be very much appreciated.
I am 32, my weight is in the normal range and the doctor just told me yesterday it was specifically because I am a cancer survivor. My other 2 children were born before the cancer, my youngest is almost 9. Thank you all for your input so far.
