He will become very disoriented at times, but it doesn’t happen very often. Then he will sleep way too long. This happened and lasted a couple of days. He doesn’t have anyone there with him and it worries me that no one could know that he is going through this again. Shouldn’t he be in the hospital when he gets like that?

I’m in the process of writing a novel, and one of my main characters is dealing with an illness - but I can’t be sure it’s realistic, because I’m not in the medical field. My idea is that he has a brain tumor, and my question is this: is it realistic for a patient to be diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor, given a very short time to live, and still appear outwardly fine (no symptoms)? If so, what type of cancer would cause this?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

does speaking on a cell/mobile phone a lot lead to higher chances of getting a brain tumor? i heard and read something like this in the newspaper, but is it real? i use my cell phone a lot, keep it in my pocket basically all the time and have long conversations on it frequently. should i cut down on my usage? is it bad for my health? will the chances of getting a brain tumor be increased??

I think that I might have a brain tumor. I am 15 and am really worried. I had a couple of headaches in the last week and they were not too bad but they were also not all day. I had nausea and wasn’t really hungry, also I had trouble with short-term memory things. I have been really busy the last few weeks and have not had adoquite sleep but this has never happened before. I talked to my mom and she said I was probably ok, but I’m not convinced. Any answers?
