My dad went to the Dr. last week because he’s been losing a lot of hair.The Dr. said the hair loss is a thyroid issue which I understand could be right.He also has a growth on his arm.The Dr. said it “might” be skin cancer and gave him some sort of a topical cream to apply for the next 30 days.If it’s still there in 30 days then they will do a biopsy. I don’t understand this.Isn’t it always best to find cancer as early as possible and treat asap? I’m concerned because he is going through a community health organization that is a total joke.I had colon cancer and the same program spent 3 years refusing to do any meaningful tests and misdiagnosing me with the most ridiculous crap you can imagine.If I hadn’t gotten health insurance and gone to a decent Dr I would be dead now.I’m terrified that they’re pulling the same crap on my dad.Have you ever heard of a Dr. not checking out an abnormal skin growth right away? Can anyone think of a reason why waiting to do a biopsy could be a good idea?

Ok I just noticed this the other day. In the area underneath my armpit I found something that looked like a black head but it is out of my skin a little its like a bump. I tried popping it but it wouldnt pop. Its not big or anything its like the size of a black head and it looks alot like a blackhead but i cant pop it and even when i try picking at it the thing doesnt come off. Do you think this is just a black head that doesnt want to poped or is it something that could be serious?

My boyfriend’s doctor called today to say that one biopsy was moderate and the other was moderate to severe. He is scheduled for 2 surguries. one is in nov and the other the 2nd week of december.

What does this mean? I am just confused about the moderate/servere biopsy. He didnt tell me much beacuse thats jsut him in nature..Now im just worried! Any help would be appreciated
