I notice my bf have this small bump under his skin on his chest. I noticed it a few years ago, but its was pretty small, like a small pimple. He said it doesnt hurt or anything.
But now i noticed it more like almost a cm big. Its like a little hard ball under the skin.
There is like small blackhead on the bump, so when i squeezed it, some white thing comes out, its doesnt look like puss, but more like some kind of fatty substance (very white vs. creamy color).
I dont know what it could be, is it a tumor?? or a benign cancer? or what??
please help.

Every year my family and I have a huge dinner at their friends’, but recently their dog developed skin cancer. They still allow her to run around and lick everyone though. I’m just wondering, should I be worried at all? Should we go have dinner with them anyway, or kindly think of an excuse?
Thanks for the clarification without being TOO sarcastic. -eyeroll- No, I'm not crazy and I didn't think it was contagious either. My mom was just being paranoid about it.
Kelsandane: No, I am not "worried about the puke factor with a poor sick ugly creature running around." Fyi, I love animals and frankly, I don't like your "Your such a f***ing ignorant idiot" tone of voice.

I have a mole on my neck. It has all the signs of a normal mole. But sometimes it gets a very very VERY small growth thing on the side of and that gets a tad crusty. The thing is, I always rub, pick at, and touch the mole. I have ever since I was little, it’s comforting. So I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
here is a picture of my actual mole:

when i saw the side section of the mole, it reminded me exactly of the parts of my skin like my elbows.
that could be the dryness?

Can someone tell me a website I can go to for interview questions to ask a person who has had skin cancer? It wouldn’t hurt even if you made up the questions and think they might help.
I need 10 interview questions.
It is for my science project.
Please reply before December 12, 2008.

Hello. I am an Anatomy & Physiology student working on a project for the semester. I have to interview 5 people who have or have had any form of skin cancer before. Internet interviews are allowed.
If you are or were a skin cancer patient, I would greatly appreciate it if you could post or PM the answers to these questions.
1. When you were diagnosed with skin cancer, what was your initial response?
2. How has going through skin cancer been an emotional one?
3. How aware were you of the possibility of getting skin cancer before diagnosis?
4. Do you believe that there should be more awareness of skin cancer?
5. How did you find out you might have had skin cancer?
6. What advice would you give to other new skin cancer patients?
7. What do you think was the most significant factor in developing skin cancer?
8. How has this experience inspired you to help others going through the same process?
9. What was the most difficult stage of going through skin cancer, from diagnosis to treatment?
10. Did you ever imagine that you would get skin cancer and how surprised were you when you did?
Again, I would appreciate it if anyone could answer these or, if you know someone who can, send these questions to him or her. Thank you very much for your help!

About a month ago, I was really scared about getting an x-ray on my sprained knee(afraid of getting cancer). 2 days after the x-ray, I noticed 3 very very dark spots on the top of my hand. At first i figured it was dirt, so i washed the spots for like 30 minutes, using all kinds of soap and I even used a sponge. It’s been a month now and those spots are still there I’m really concerned.
