My dog is receiving chemo for lymphoma and I have a week old baby?

The vet said to clean any feces or vomit with gloves because the chemo in the system is toxic, for 48 hours after treatment. My daughter just turned a week old today and I also have an 11 year old son. I am really freaking out about the dog being in the house around the them. He has been sneezing or drooling and I am worried about the chemo, being so toxic, harming one of them. Am I being over paranoid or do I have reason to worry? I have been trying to research it online but cannot find anything. The vet said that "technically yes" that it would be in his saliva also but didn't seem too concerned..but there is no way I am taking any chances! I would rather have the dog outside but he is my fiances baby and he wants him to be as comfortable as possible, we live in FL and it is humid and hot outside. The treatment is for 6 months and I am beside myself…my daughter won't even be able to play on the floor when she gets to that stage because I'll be too worried about toxic drool!

Tell me anything I need to know, I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma.?

I'm 17 and a half years old and I just found out I have Hodkin's Lymphoma. I'm going to get stages in a few days, but I want to know anything I should know about it.

My 3 year old rottweiler lab mix was just diagnosed with lymphoma.?

The tumor was very tiny and we were told we caught it relatively early, the dog has always ben thin and vomits soooo much that he even asks out to vomit, with research I found out that vomiting is a symptom of his illness and now wonder if we really caught it very early at all. All of the other biopsies have come back negative, the tumor was located on top of his neck. A word to the wise, if your dog is thin and vomits 2 or more times a day keep a close watch! By the way I also had him to the vet repeatedly for the thinness and vommiting until now they could never find a cause, of course his age was also a huge factor as to why we never looked for this illness. He was 2 years old when the vommitting began, and the vet repeatedly assured me that there was nothing to worry about.
