From what I understand from my science classes, radiation can cause cell mutation and thus cancer. If that is true, then why do they use radiation to treat cancer? Wouldn't it make the cancer worse?
Also, what type of radiation do they use?

Today I had some cancer removed from my forehead and the top of my head right above my forehead has fallen asleep twice. It feels tingly just like when a leg falls asleep. What I most want to know is whether this will go away. Any ideas?

I have different sized pupils, and someone suggested it might be aniscoria
so i got curious and looked it up
when i looked it up, it also listed balance problems
so i decided to check my symptoms
i went to wrongdiagnosis.com
chose under multiple symptom checker, balance problems, pupil dialation, brain swelling, and eye twicthing
the only answer it came up with is brain cancer
is it true or could there be other explanations?
these symptoms have been occuring for a while, months, and the swelling comes and goes

I know, it is quite a serious question to be asking online.
I just want to know some things.
How can doctors know if you have it? What tests do they run to find out if you have it? Is surgery the only way to know if you have it? How old are most people targeted with Ovarian cancer? Also one last one which is one of the symptoms is smelly discharge. I don't know what that means. Like smells absolutely horrible? Smells kind of bad? I don't know what normal discharge smells like.
Anyway I am just asking these questions because I am quite young and I have been sick for 2 years and they don't know what it is. I checked out Ovarian Cancer and it turns out I have almost all of the symptoms.
Thanks guys
Oh and p.s. I got a cat scan and in all of them it says my lymphnodes (spelling?) are swollen and I have fluid by my left ovary and a few cysts on the left one. They haven't really read into that though.
