My sister has cervical cancer. She has had it for two years I guess but the doctor just decided now it should be taken care of. I am very scared because she is my closest sibling(of 3 others, not including me and her) and I am only 15, and I don’t know what do do or make of it. She said she would be fine, and the doctor said it is early enough to catch, but I know she is scared too. What should I make of this? How should I deal with it.
no she has had it or early stages before i guess. and i didnt mean deal w/ it i meant how to prevent myself from like crying in public cuz i am real scared

I sometimes have a dull pain near where my cervix should be while I’m walking - like I have a cut or something near my cervix and the cut is being rubbed while walking. This happens only for a few days after I have sex with my girlfriend. I don’t enjoy penetration so she couldn’t have cut me or anything. Sometimes my mucus looks slightly bloody after sex as well.
I’ve been tested for HPV and don’t have it. What could be causing my discomfort?

Is there a particular reason that this is not the "standard of care" for stage IIB and beyond cervical cancer patients?
Once radiation and chemo successfully remove the cancer (or as according to a PET/MRI), why would they not remove the actual original cancer site (cervix) after the lymph nodes and other tissues are no longer cancerous?
Are there dangers to having a hysterectomy if you underwent max dose pelvic radiation, but have since completely healed and almost 4 months have passed?

I am at around 15 years old. No known history of breast cancer that. I just started my period less than a year ago (6ish months ago maybe?) so this might be some kind of hormone thing going on but I am not sure because I am just growing up and am not familiar with myself yet.
Anyway… I was showering yesterday and I happened to look down to my chest and noticed a little error. There is a little bump or two (probably the size a pea, if that) right next to each other. The skin itself is about the same color as my normal skin color, but when it was pressed a little it was the color of a vein (light purple/green/blue-ish). I am not sore at all anywhere and don’t have symptoms. My next period is expected to start within around a week. Is it just something to do with hormones and just maturing, some little breast thing I don’t know about? Before all my other period I hadn’t noticed anything, but I don’t really "concentrate" on my chest, so it might have been the same thing (maybe like a sign of my periods coming a week before)…
Is it probably like a clogged vein, duct, cyst (what is a cyst by the way?), etc?????
So, yeah… If it should be "checked out" I don’t really think I would be comfortable asking my mom anything related to my chest (can barely mention periods) and asking to go to the doctor and having the doctor even look there… If you know what I mean? Thanks!!!

My sister and I are going to be walking a 3 day 60 mile walk in November. We are trying to create a cool, catchy name..Does anyone have any thoughts?

I feel a lump tucked under my right breast. There isn’t one on the left. It concerns me.

I am a few days shy of 18 years old. I’ve had a mole removed before due to the possibility of malignancy.
This mole thing on my ear is pale pinky brown. a little rough and unevenly shaped. It looks a bit like a bubble at about 3 or 4 mm high. It’s about 1cm now width wise in total. I’ve had this mole for years and it hasn’t grown before. its located on the anti-tragdus of my ear, It’s wrapped around my cartilage.
Could this be cancer?
How would my doctor remove it?
Thank you.
