everything I’ve read indicates that organ transplants are not done in cases of metastatic disease. The Oncologist says that in metastatic disease, the new organ will simply get "poisoned" by the circulating cancer cells after a time and the risk of rejection due to low immunity is huge.
Now this really can only be determined by the patients oncologist.

Really depends on how much cancer and what type.A friend of mine has liver cancer and had chemo and radiation. Then it came back and she started H2o therapy and her doctor was amazed that the cancer is shrinking. punch in h2o therapy in your browser and do some research on it. Maybe it can help in your situation. Good Luck

No, this teenager would be denied to receive a transplant if the cancer has spread to other areas or another area sent the cancer to the liver. Once the cancer has spread, transplant is not an option since it would not change things like get rid of the cancer.
