Proof? It was never a great mystery, just much more rare than women having breast cancer. Men experience having breast cancer because men have breasts. How to avoid it? That’s anyone’s guess. Just stay as healthy as you can.

The fact that men can get breast cancer is not news.
Men have breast tissue, and so can get breast cancer.
It’s rare though; fewer than 1% of everyone diagnosed with breast cancer are male.
And most men diagnosed with breast cancer are over 60, though I have met a very few in their late 40s and 50s through breast cancer support networks.
You use the words ‘girls’ and ‘boys’; girls and boys don’t get breast cancer. It’s almost unheard of in women under 25, fewer than 0.1% of all women diagnosed with it are under 30, only 5% are under 40 and most (80%) are over 50.
The causes of breast cancer are not known, so nobody can tell you how to avoid it, unfortunately. Just take comfort from from the fact that your risk of breast cancer as a male is minuscule

that is the problem of the question you pose girls and boys do not get cancer. This disease usually is for those that are mid life. And men get breast cancer but only a low percentage compared to women.
