I have a lump on the side of my neck–about 2" under my ear–and I was just wondering if it could be cancer? I went to a doctor, and she touched it really quicky and said it was a swollen gland and that I was probably coming down with a cold. That was 3 weeks ago (when I went it had already been swollen up for 1 1/2-2 weeks) and it is still swollen. I’m not sick, I feel fine…I hate to be such a hypochondriac, but should I go to another doctor? I feel like it shouldn’t be swollen for so long, especially when I’m not sick…
