Posted on Dec 31, 2009 under breast cancer | 2 Comments

so im 14 years old. and today i get out of the shower to find that my boob is red on the side and very itchy. and there’s like a little dot. and im freaking out to know if i have breast cancer.
i was reading a couple posts online but some say its like a minor case of it. some say it is. some say it isn’t. i know its not a bug bite because i was wearing like a big thick sweater all day. and when i took it off to shower it was itchyy!
i really dont know what to think at this point. but if someone can please tell me if i have it or not that would be amazing!
thank youu!

Is there a probability that I have breast cancer?

Im only 14 years old. I wear a "light push" up bra on a daily basis. There is no trace of breast cancer in my blood but my uncle did die from possibly lung cancer in 2000.
I have lumps and my nipple hurts a lot and they are really tender. Im really afraid and I just need to be told I’ll be ok from a real doctor or specialist.
But could there possibly be a whole different reason for the way my breasts are? Growth in size? Hormones? The fact that I wear the "light push" up bra everyday? I mean why do my breasts feel this way if not because of breast cancer?

Radiation can cause cancer. So why don’t we do MRIs, ultrasounds, and the Halo breast pap test?

Instead of mammograms.

I understand the radiation is minimal, but radiate enough women and you will get some cancers. So why not use the other ways to test for breast cancer?
But there is eveidence that they do cause at least some cancers:

What do you think causes breast cancer?

Breast Cancer- How can you tell what is a cancerous lump?

Posted on Dec 31, 2009 under breast cancer | 6 Comments

Im 23 and cancer runs on my mums side of the family. I am very paranoid about breast cancer and I am constantly checking them. I always pressing down hard till I can feel by bones or if I lie a certain way and feel around my nipple area, can feel the lumps that are under my nipples (which i assume/ hope are supposed to be there due to the purpose of my nipples!)
I am just unsure of what a cancerous lump actually feels like.

Could this be skin cancer on my penis?

Could this be skin cancer on my penis?

I haven’t had anytype of sex with girl(Not like any girls want me anyway) so it can’t be an STD. That spot is a little darker than normal. The texture of that spot doesn’t feel any diffrent from the rest of it. The spot doesn’t hurt or anything. It isn’t raised at all. Does this sound like anything to worry about? My dad thinks it’s just pigmentation discoloring or something like that. Does that sound right?
The spot is symmetrical.
The whole spot is blurry, It’s kinda hard to tell the actual color.
It’s not that big at all.
I went to the dermatologist to get it checked out and he just to keep watching it for changes. It’s been there about a month since I 1st noticed it, I don’t think it’s changed at all…

Are lymphoma and leukemia related in any way?

Both are very prevalent in my family, and I was wondering if maybe the DNA was similar or something.

My brother is thiry-five and they found a mass in his lungs. Isn’t he a bit young for lung cancer?

I am telling the rest of the family not to panic before he has a biopsy done, but I wanted to ask the typical age someone gets lung cancer. I think its very rare for someone his age.
