No. And it’s not a vaccine for cervical cancer, it’s the vaccine for HPV, which is the most common cause of cervical cancer. There is no such thing as a vaccine for cancer. The commercials are misleading.

    NO it isnt!
if you go and have it, the doctor/nurse or whoever gives it to you will explain that it IS NOT a form of birth control, so dont be mistaken! (:

my right breast aches and im worried of cancer?

Posted on Mar 12, 2010 under breast cancer |

my right breast aches down the right side, across the middle and underneath.i can not feel any lumps and no pain.my bra size is 40dd (natural no surgery) im not taking any medication for anything that could cause the ache as a side effect.i will be 30 in may and my periods are normal and im not pregnant or breastfeeding and this has been going on now for a couple of months and im starting to notice it more often and if i use my right arm loads like using the hoover or ironing lots then i also notice the ache in my breast.i know no one on here can diagnose what it might be but any advice would be good as im worried it could be a sign of breast cancer.i know i should see the doctor but im just so scared of what they will say so ive been putting it off but i did just call them but because i requested to see a lady doctor i was asked to phone back monday and they will give me an appointment during one day next week but in the meantime i would just like some advice on what people think it could be as im so worried about cancer (cancer does not run im my family)
many thanks

Your question sounds more serious. I suggest that you should consult to expert for health advice.

Pain is rarely a sign of breast cancer - most people diagnosed with breast cancer have felt no pain at all.

And breast cancer is extremely unlikely at your age; fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with breast cancer are under 30, and only 5% are under 40.

So the odds are in your favour. But if this pain persists you need to get it checked out; just remember while you wait for your appointment that breast cancer is an unlikely explanation.

I was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and if it hadn’t been for my Mammogram, I would have never known. It is very rare for Breast Cancer to give pain. Please don’t put anything off, you don’t want to end up like me. I went for an Innocent Mammogram, and came out a Cancer Fighter.
