I opened her email to a friend about her current situation (breast cancer relapse) she said "I really just can’t tell my daughters the whole truth- they know about me having cancer for the 2nd time but I haven’t told them the cancer spread." She spent a night in a hospital without us knowing. What’s going on with her? Is she going to die?
The are not using chemo or radiation, instead medication is being used and they are removing her ovaries for some reason I don’t understand.

i just learned it from friends and also some relatives that when you sleep make sure that you’re not wearing a bra to avoid disease such as the breast cancer… i need to know the facts about it… or if its only a false belief that they believed in for many years. haha

Hi everyone,
Today I learned my Grandfather who is 75 years old may have lung cancer.
As I said he is 75 years old, and has smoked for over 25 years, but quit 5 years ago. He has had three heart attacks already, but besides what we just learned is in good health. The doctors found a spot on his lung and they say it’s a 75 percent chance it id cancer, He has seen a Doctor a year ago and the X-rays and tests for his heart did not indicate any spot or abnormality in his chest area.
If it is cancer, and it has developed sometime in the last year, is it treatable, and possible to get rid of completely? And If the cancer hasn’t spread to any other part of the body, is surgery somewhat successful when trying to remove part of the lung.
Please answer if you have medical experience or have someone/had someone in the same situation, Thanks.
Thanks for your help. And I am sorry to hear about your loss.

I found out two weeks ago that I have prostate cancer. My wife and I have talked with the Dr and gone over the different form of treatment possible. I have had one hormone therapy shoot and and on a strict diet to lose as much weight as possible so I can have surgery in about 6 months. I would like to know from prostate cancer survivors what type of treatment you has and what were the side effects. Was incontinence a problem? I am thinking about having the radioactive seeds implanted in the prostate and if anyone has had this I would like to know how it went and what were any side effects you had. Other than being a bit overweight I am healthy. The cancer came as a surprise and was found after my PSA level rose to 4.3 The urologist did a biopsy and the cancer was found. I am curious to hear from other men who have survived prostate cancer.
I didn’t ask how to lose weight I asked about the side effects of the treatment
