The person I’m talking about is only in 7th grade. It’s very unfortunate. All the cheerleaders are wearing orange in favor of him, and writing the first letter of his name on our cheeks, but I want to come up with a few more ideas to make his last days the best. Give suggestions please, it’s for a good cause. Thanks

My 2 year old daughter has just had a CBC done. She has an extremely low appetite and a consistent low grade fever for the past few months that is between 99.5 and 100 degrees consistently. She has dropped dramatically on the growth chart over the past year. She used to be a VERY chunky, long baby in the 70th to 80th percentile. And is now in the 5th percentile for both. She is anemic and has high lymphocytes and atypical lymphocytes. Her WBC was not high. Her Dr. does not seem concerned. I have had to push to do these initial tests and then request that the results be sent to me. The Dr. didn’t even tell me about the elevated lymphocytes!! I got after her and we are doing more extensive tests tomorrow. I just wanted to get others opinions. I am very worried about her and am feeling like I am not being heard. HELP!

My little brother died from leukemia when he was 12. I want to get a tattoo for it and am looking for ideas. My grandmother survived breast cancer, so I was thinking of a pink and orange cancer ribbon kinda interlocked. Or if I did one for just my brother, getting something along the lines of an orange ribbon with the word "brother" in greek or something. Do these sound like they’d be pretty cool? Any other ideas?

I’m a Cancer, and it’s like I diss out my own sign. They are really beautiful too.
Mayb, it’s cuz I resented my vulnerability, and envied those, "stronger, and more in control"

For decades, the American Cancer Society has rammed the importance of breast and prostate cancer screening down our throats. They gave us fantastic statistics about the success rate of treating early detection. Now they come out and say that they have overstated the effectiveness of screening and even say that it causes risks of over-treating some cancers while ignoring others.
If they were lying for decades, then they are guilty of one of the biggest frauds in history and should be held accountable.
If they are lying now, the only reason is in the world for them to come out with this at this point and time is because the Obama administration asked them to. Can you imagine how much costs would drop by not covering breast and prostate cancer screenings?
So, was it decades of fraud, or is it a deadly manipulation by the Obama administration?

Chewy and PJ…the facts are there. from 1980 to 2000 the percentage of death from breast cancer has gone down 20% due to early detection. In prostate it is almost 25%. So now they come out and say that it is POTENTIALLY CAUSING RISK? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? YOU ARE BUYING THIS CRAP???
Eman….considering the timing, what Obama and his Czars have said, and the obvious lunacy of this…to not see it you are short of marbles.
Woodles…your analysis is thorough, and the most naive of them. Take a look at Obama’s "Give her a pill" comment. Take a look at his Czars and their PAST REMARKS about determinations of treatment based on cost-benefit. Take a look at the original legislation…before they took out the part which led to Palin calling it "Death Panels"….funny they claimed there were no such provisions, but within a week of her "Death Panel" statement, they said that they were taking those provisions out that she was referring to. They took out what was not there? Or if they were not what they appeared to be, why take them out.
I guarantee that you have not read any of the legislation. I HAVE. I have read, and traced HR3200, and it was a nightmare. From there they have to cut costs. The current Senate bill leaves between 14 and 25 million uninsured…and when you leave off the illegals there are only 30 million uninsured to begin with. And you trust maniacs who keep being caught lying?????

My fiance found out she has brain cancer and then immediately sent me back my ring and dumped me and won’t talk to me and keeps telling me to leave her alone. I’m constantly texting her (she won’t answer my calls) and telling her that I so badly want to be there for her and I don’t understand why she’s shutting me out and won’t let me be there. She just keeps telling me to stop making it about me and to leave her alone.
I really don’t know what to do. In one week, I’ve found out that the person that means so much to me not only has a life threatening cancer, but also broke off our engagement and won’t see me or even let me talk to her or be there for her.
I’m absolutely heart broken and I need some advice. She seems to get very mad at me when I try to keep in touch and text her. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just let her go? Please help!
Thank you all in advance!
