I’m 17 and a few weeks ago I received a letter from my doctors about having 3 injections over a period of 6 months to prevent it.
I’m absolutely petrified of needles but obviously if it’s going to prevent cancer I realise that i’m gonna have to go for it.
However I read on internet articles that some people have died from it and they are still at the testing stage.
It’s put me off even more.
I don’t want to be some guineapig.
I honestly know how important these injections are and i’m not looking for people to say omg this is cancer we’re talking about.
I’d like some advice from people who have had the jab or know anything about it.
I’m really worried, thanks.
Ah … cross roads.

My friend has cervicitis, do I need to send him a fruit basket?

would you have your breast tissue completely removed as a preventative measure? What would be the reasons for either removing the tissue or choosing not to remove it?
Your mother has battled breast cancer several times and your sisters have the gene as well. Also, let’s assume you are married with children and your family is complete.
This is in parenting because I want opinions from a parents point of view.
It was from an article I read in Family Circle. The sisters had their breast tissue removed AND full hysterectomy (family history of uterine cancer too.) The reason that they gave is because they wanted to live for any future grandchildren and they knew their families were complete. The article just struck me as interesting.

well, not so much as cause, but can it sometimes result in?
my bra size is 36DD and i have a bunch of padded push up bras, and i can’t stand not sleeping in a bra because i just feel far too naked.
but if i’m at risk, then i’d like to know.
and if it can’t lead to breast cancer, can it lead to anything else?
