What type of authorization do health care providers need to administer the Cervical Cancer Vaccine?

Have a 11 yr old daughter that was vaccinated w/ the cervical cancer vaccine without me knowing they were adminestering it. Do they have to get my permission to do this?

I’m guessing you’re talking about Gardasil. I’m pretty sure they would need permission if you’re her guardian and she’s a minor; however, your best bet is to check their website. I know they have a parent/guardian section there.

    Best of luck.

PS. The Gardasil vaccine is like the Hep B one: you have to get three shots, spaced between months. Did they do all three shots without you knowing? That’s a long time to be left in the dark…
