Cervical cancer vaccine and birth defects?
Posted on Jul 15, 2009 under breast cancer |Have they done any testing of women who have babies after getting vaccine? This vaccine just screams to me that the young women who get the vaccine are going to have children with birth defects.

Why would the babies have birth defect? The only danger would be if the vaccine was give while pregnant. The young women aren’t going to have to worry about cervical cancer and various strains of HPV.

What are you scientifically basing this on?

they have to have done tests otherwise the institute that releases drugs because they are safe would not be able to releasethem, my dr said its even safe to have whilst breastfeeding, which was lucky cause they gave it to me without asking. Its not safe to take during pregnancy but so i only got 1 shot oops!

I wouldn’t be surprised. This vaccine is still so new and I would never have my daughters take it. Vaccines in general these days are so processed and dangerous. I imagine we will see a great increase in birth defects or diseases in children of these women just like the great increase in autism from vaccines and the great increase in breast cancer from birth control pills.

oremus - you want your daughters to have a chance of getting strains of HPV? It is FDA approved last I heard.
Anyways - unless the vaccine was given while pregnant I wouldn’t worry at all. I have had all 3 shots a year ago and I’m pregnant now and not worried at all. If there were any remote chances birth defects were a side effect they would let you know.

its not really a new thing, they have been doing tests for like 10 years.. its only now that its avail to the public…
im sure it is all fine
and at the same time, there is as much of a chance for this one to cause defects as any other shot that a dr can give you

I will not let my daughter’s get this vaccine, just for the fact just because the FDA approves something to be sold on the market, does not make it safe. How many drugs have been "approved" and people die or get very ill from the so called approved medication. It happens all the time. I hear they have made it a law in some states to have your daughter vaccinated. I think I’ll have my daughter’s pass and teach them safe sex practices. To prevent STD’s and pregnancy. And in all honestly, I teach all my boys and girls alike to wait until they are married. Not that that will work, but hey, I’m giving it a try anyway, and pray it works. And if that does not work, then I trust that my children will come to me or their dad when the time comes, before they make the choice to have sex.

What do you know about this vaccine?
Obviously not very much because your ignorance shows here.
This vaccine is actually much safer than many of the vaccines out there because it doesn’t contain 2 things that many vaccines include.
1. There is NO live or dead virus in the vaccine.
2. There is no mercury or thiomercil in the vaccine.
These are the 2 things thought by hippies generally to be of concern & danger in vaccines.
You are obviously yet another moron like the other 2 people here who said they would not vaccinate. You are the people that lead to diseases which should be eradicated in the population still existing. By doing this you endanger not only your children but other people’s babies and the sick & elderly who are susceptible to these diseases.
I hope you are proud.
Just one more note for the massive moron above.
THERE IS NO PROVEN LINK BETWEEN AUTISM AND VACCINES, so stop spreading your dangerous paraonia in the population.

There have been no studies on the HPV vaccine and birth defects in humans. However, we do know that the HPV vaccine does not cause obvious birth defects in rats. Shouldn’t that be enough to calm your fears?
