Symptoms of cervical cancer ? Worried !!?

I'm 18 and for the past seven months I've had a discharge that is unusual for me. It has stayed put since and has never gone away. I was tested for all STD's and infections and everything came back clear. Since before Christmas now I've had other symptoms such as pain during and after intercourse, bleeding after intercourse and bleeding between periods. I've also felt two lumps down below and am naturally worried. At the start of this month I went to see a gynaecologist (NHS referred) who wasn't very helpful; she did examine me but didn't do a smear or swab even though I had told her about my symptoms. Is it worth booking a smear test & another examination at my local clinic or am I wasting my time? Thanks to anyone who answers, I'm really worried about this. xx

I’m getting my cervical cancer injection tomorrow, is it safe for me to drink alcohol in the night?

Well, I'm having my injection at about 10am and I'm going to a party at 7pm, I will more than likely drink alcohol. Is it safe? or will it effect me since kind of I'm mixing whatever chemicals are in the needle with alcohol.

results of being diagnosed with breast cancer during pregnancy?

hi everyone
i'm just about 8 months pregnant give or take
i had a physical breast examination in the first two or three months of my pregnancy and was found to be normal
however last week when i was lying down [massaging my breasts, they are still sore a lot] i found a little 1 cm lump in my right breast near my arm pit
when i got my physical examination the doctor described to me what a lump would feel like if it was possibly cancerous, she said it would be small maybe the size of a pea or a little bigger, hard, and wouldn't move around easily
this lump has all of these characteristics and i am some what worried
i have a doctors appt tomorrow and plan on bringing this to her attention i realize it could be a few different things
but i was wondering what would happen if it wasss breast cancer
would anything happen to the baby? would i have to get induced? could it cause problems for my son later on?
any advice is welcome, i would especially like to hear from someone who has been in this situation

help with skin cancer?

i'm 14 and i basically get burned on the nose alot if i'm out in the sun for ages and don't wear sun screen or a hat. i don't have any symptoms like scaly red bumps or moles or whatsoever on my nose but it is always red. i live in the probably the worlds most dangerous place for skin cancer, Australia, and i have to sometimes walk a few distances to get to class which i get exposed in the sun. Two questions. 1. would just putting sun screen on my nose everyday for school and anywhere i go outside lose its redness and make my nose look better? 2. do you develop the cancer when you get to your late ages like 60 years +?

My 65 year old Father who smokes was told he has a large Malignancy in his lung. Does he have Cancer?

He has not had a Biopsy yet. he had one scheduled, but he cancelled it until next week. Does this mean he officially has cancer. I read that the life expectancy for a 65 year old with lung cancer is that only 25% survive more then 1 year. I am confused. My Mom is a nurse and I would ask her, but my dad made me promise not to tell her. they are divorced.
