Bleeding between periods? Cervical Cancer?

So I just had a baby 6 months ago and I know bleeding is common but I just had a pap smear and learned that I have HPV. Which I know can lead to cervical cancer. Well I about 4 years ago I used to bleed between periods and after sex and pain during sex. no birth control. Now that I have learned about HPV I have been more aware about my body. I have been bleeding a good amount between periods and really heavy on my periods. Does anyone know what it is or why it is happening? And why it happend about 4 years ago and is now back? Does it have anything to do with Cervical Cancer? Please help me.
I have not had sex since before baby was born. I made a Dr. Appointment for the 2nd of january, they said last time I went that they could do a colostopy or what ever its called because I am not 21 yet, They might do more tests but I have made Dr appointment

when a woman receives a pap smear do they check for just cervical cancer or all types of HPV?

when i got my pap done they told me that it was for HPV and all other STD's, but do they check for all types HPV or just cervical cancer?
ok…so the doctor told me they would call me if anything was abnormal or positive….so since the doctor didnt call me back, does that mean i am clear of cervical cancer or HPV?
