My dog is just 1 yr old and this morning I was petting him and felt a lump of fatty skin on the back of his “knee”. I know these lumps from senior dogs being lymphoma. I called the vet and said my dog’s due for all his 1 yr vaccines in Dec. but can I bring him in earlier because i found this lump, so we’re going in Monday. but i still had to ask if anyone knew what else this could be please. He’s a rescued puppymill dog so i do know he could have bad genes. he’s part border collie and part retriever 60 lbs. he doesn’t act sick at all and it’s not sore to him for me to touch and palpatate the lump. Thank you.
thanks for the replies it's good toknow could be just an infection of some kind. he is slightly underweight though if anything. he's had a hard time putting on weight since i got him.

My doctor refer me to hematology because I have anemia, so when I went to the hematology dr. in his exam he felt something in my neck that I never notice before, and he asked me to do CT for my neck and also I’m going to do gallium scan for the whole my whole body too. Is it possible that I have lymphoma cancer??? I’m very worried!!
I’m always feeling tired, and sometimes I have night sweat, and itching especially in my legs.

Ex boyfriend advice- MEN ages 30-40 HELP ME!!!?
I need some serious advice and insight-
My ex and I have been having fights lately. His father has stage 4 lung cancer and it’s gotten progressively worse. J, my boyfriend, is in a state of despression, self-reflection (he has some issues within himself he wants to work out), and intense stress. We have “broken up” but, we talk every day and after we have huge blow-outs…we admit that we love and care for each other. We also continue to express that we miss each other and feel like we have lost our best friend. We are in contact constantly and care about what’s going on in the others lives.
WHAT IS GOING ON???
Is this person keeping me in his life because he loves me and wants us to work out? Do you think he feels weak as a man right now and just needs time to sort his **** out before he can try and focus on our relationship again? This is a good man, who is 38- not looking to play games and waste time. We are both staying faithful to the other eventhough we are not technically “together”. How do I interpret his love and continuing to reach out and engage in my life? Does he just need time to get strong again and get a grip on his issues and dealing with his father dying?
We wanted to get married and have a family. Something we were very open and honest about. Should I hold onto faith that this will work itself out since there is so much love? Should I give him space to resolve his stress and issues and trust he will come back since he hasn’t really done anything to prove that he wants to lose me, other than just screaming things when he’s angry?
Thanks!

ok so I have been having this reoccuring dream about a brain tumor. I was lead to the notion that I could have a brain tumor one day when reading a symptom. But I never really worried about it seriously.
However I have been having dreams say once every few months about me going to the doc and checking for a brain tumor, and once a dream where I could see dozens of little tumors in my head and throughout my body.
So whats the chances this dream could be saying I really have a brain tumor? I have alot of bad dreams my whole life, but this one kinda scares me since its about a brain tumor. If I had health insurance I would just go to th damn doc. Any feedback guys? Could this just be a metaphoric dream or something also?

The question on my biology lab is: ” cytologists play an important role in detection of cancer. Explain what a cytologist might look for when observing a potential cancer smear?”
Please help, thanks you

My dad is 82 He’s looking very old as of the past year. Now I have him seeing a Doctor and the Doc want him to have a cat scan on his body, what kind of cancer would be for pains in the right side of back.

My dad was diagnosed in 2005 with stage 3 cancer that had spread to half the lymph nodes in the area. After a resection (no colostomy), radiation and chemo, he held steady for a year. Then, his doctors found it had metastisized to his liver and the sacral tissue between the rectum and sacral vertebrae. He began another round of chemo which was highly effective but too toxic - he had to stop after 3 rounds. He starts back on a reduced dosage on Nov 4th.
My question is this - he is using chemo as a palliative solution at this point. The chemo is shrinking and slowing the growth of the inoperable tumor in the sacral tissue. At some point, he will be in severe pain again. Has anyone had experience with this sort of cancer and are there any palliative treatments available? He is already taking regular doses of morphine. Thank you!
