she is the only one I have been sexually active with, except for a one night stand ( in which I was not dating at the time, but did not ejaculate, sorry for the details.) I really need help, and I’m not sure what to do or if I’m at risk. And also, is HIV connected in any way to HPV? Thank you everyone for you support and help.

I’m in year 9 but as i aint 14 before october i have to have the cervical cancer jab in my school. I have heard from people that it doesn’t really work and i was just wondering if you have any Information on it? Also my friend is the same age as me and she had had sex and was worried that the jab wont work if shes already had sex and whether the jab will be able to tell if you have done it or not??? Help!!! for mine as well as hers sake!!!!!!!
Thanks xo

I have had 3, 6 month check ups and they have come back abnormal. The doctor has said I have HPV and now after the third pap smear being abnormal I am to go for a coloscpoy. I am always nauseous, my periods are very irregular (Most months dont get it at all) and when I do it’s for two days. Sharp pains by my ovaries and tummy area, Almost like someone stabbing me. I have noticed my stomache has bloated out a lot as well.
Are these things connected to HPV? What are the chances those cells will turn into cancer?

my mother at 43 was just diagnosed with the worst strain of HPV, the one that is highest risk of causing cervical cancer. im the oldest of her 5 children and i have her first grandchild. not to mention she is pregnant, but miscarrying (abnormal pregnancy due to age and a med she took before she got pregnant). if she gets diagnosed with cervical cancer, what are her chances of living??

in the UK, when the pharmaceutical company making the vaccine has not even finished its stage 3 clinical trials to find out if there are side-effects?
Why are we planning to inject all our teenage girls with a virtually untested drug?

Was the nature of the drug explained fully to you? Do you feel you have enough information to be able to make an informed and educated judgment about whether the benefits outweigh the risks? Have you felt under pressure to agree to this vaccination or have you been free to make your own mind up? Does it worry you that the vaccine has not gone through full clinical trials yet, to verify its safety?

about a month ago i had a mole removed from my breast and i have now noticed a big lump in that breast and a tiny one in the other. are these normal? should i get them checked? im only 14 so could this just be them developing?
