The closest one I found is in Geneva, IL. It is a gynecological support group, which is fine. It is just pretty far from where I live.

Breast cancer seem more well publicize to general public in particular in well developed countries which I think is great along with HIV aids as the rates of women dying from Breast cancer is alarming.
However dont you think its sort of leaving out the men?
If men are to be encouraged to see the doctors ( which at times they dont), wouldn’t it be nice if there was a national awareness week or day on certain cancers that affect and kill a lot of men such as prostate cancer?
We hear of the pink Ribbon Campaign (in Australia) and you see university’s, our harbour bridge and Oprea house lighting their lights pink for beast cancer awareness….and there’s much more.
We never see anything on this scale where there is an awareness for cancer that men suffer such as prostate or Testicular cancer which in effect sends that message out that men should suffer in silence rather than being encouraged to seek help.
So are male related cancers discriminated against in terms of the lack of awareness and support by the general public?
Some studies find that Cancer affects more men than women. So is the support disproportional?

Just something else to worry about in this crazy world!! I just read an article about birth size being linked to breast cancer. It said birth weight, length, and head circumference were all factors, but mainly length. Well, I have 2 daughters under the age of 3. One was 8lbs. 11 ozs, and 21 inches long…the other was 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and 20 inches long. The article said above 20 inches long had a higher risk of developing breast cancer in the future. What do you think? I think it sounds bizarre, but as I said, just something else to worry about as a mom! =( (I don’t know where the article is now, but if you google breast cancer linked to birth weight or something similar a ton of stuff will pop up).

ok i know you arent likely to get breast cancer at my age, but idk if somethings wrong or not.
Write now im on my menstrual, and in my right breast i can feel a lump right under the nipple.
It irritates and hurts badly at times
but once my menstrual is over, its like gone.
I just wanted some reassurance to making sure im fine.
