My doc ordered a dnc (abortion) due to my cervical cancer, it's now been 3 weeks since. is it normal that?

When i have sex i start bleeding? and the bloods a bright red. On the paper the doctor gave me it said NO SEX for 2 weeks. Its been 3 weeks today so me and my fiance thought it would be ok but now im bleeding, is that ok? and yes we used a condom.
i had already stopped bleeding a week ago and have been taking birth control for a week also. So why am i bleeding after sex? i had the surgical vaccum abortion.

it is possible to bleed again after having stopped bleeding…..i would call the doctor and just let him know…..good luck

First off, I'm very sorry you had to go through all that.
Depending on how heavy the bleeding is, you should probably go check with your doctor.
If it's just a little bit of spotting, it's probably no big deal.
But if it's heavier than a light period…. definitely go get checked out.
Also, you should probably ease up on the sex for a while, so your body has adequate time to heal.

There could easily be remaining fluid. There are alot of areas and pockets fluid can come from. As well your body just may be taking longer to recoop because of your weakened immune system.
Still do call a nurse tomorrow just to let them know. They are the best to determine if there is any need for alarm.
Drink alot of water to help flush your system. You should be drinking at least 4 liters of water a day. It is alot and is hard to get used to drinking. You cells need the H2O to run and any major bodily changes use all availible you have in your body.

Bright red blood usually means it's new blood, congealed or old blood is dark, but it could be you are still sore or not quite healed yet. I would call the dr in the morning, I think it's something he/she'd want to know.
BTW I am so sorry about the cancer and dnc, hope you get better soon.

I am sorry too…like everyone else. I hope that you will be better and get to have a baby soon! You should let your dr. know about the bleeding. Maybe your inside down there is still very sensitive. Dr will know best!

I would take it seriously and call your docter.
And I'm sorry for your loss.
I do NOT support abortion BUT , It wasn't really your choice. You had a medical reason for it. So theres NO reason for ANYBODY to give you crap about that.
